Gretchen is a 10 year old, 91 lb. female with German blood lines, whose life time owners found themselves in the unfortunate situation of having to move to an apartment where they are unable to take Gretchen with them. They are devastated!!! And now Gretchen needs to find a home where she can be with a family willing to give her the chance to make those special moments again. Besides being beautiful, Gretchen has a wonderful temperament and was recently checked out by the vet who says she’s in good shape for her age. She loves everyone and likes to give kisses. She enjoys playing with other dogs, but tends to be the alpha female. Gretchen is versatile as she loves to go for walks, knowing basic commands, but also enjoys hanging in the house with her family where she is quiet and obedient. She is experienced with groomers and being boarded , but not with farm animals or cats. Gretchen is desperately seeking a forever home where she can continue to create those memorable moments with her new family. It is not the amount of time we spend with our pets that we remember, but those special moments that occur in the time we have.
